Well, now I can see again, out of both eyes.  That's good.

The burns I sustained are healing pretty well, it looks like.  I'll probably always have the scars from them, but it shouldn't be fully permanent damage.

Now, to see if I can get started on that project.

So we're taking refuge in a city now.  It seems like forever since I've been in one.

...Yeah, I was going to go back to Nyi-Eksi today, whether that's all resolved or not, but I'm not going to chance going outside.  It's hard enough to walk as it is, with all of the earthquakes - I don't need to touch something I'm not sure of the origins of, especially given that this is probably an attack of some kind.
